Writing on his blog, Derek Landy has clarified that he is "too busy" writing Book 6 to think about a Skulduggery movie, he also confirms that the movie rights are back with him, and not attached to any movie studios. "I just wanted to make sure that none of you start believing a story that's been reported in the papers saying that Johnny Depp is going to play Skulduggery.
